Happy New Year Middle TN Members!

Happy New Year! I hope you were able to spend time with your families over the holidays. I also hope you and your families and have been healthy. I wanted to touch base with a few announcements:

Chapter Meeting: Thursday, February 11th at 7 pm. Mark your calendars! Even though we'll be meeting via Zoom, we will still have a lot of fun connecting with each other. I will be giving more details about a guest speaker as well as the Zoom sign on information as we get closer to this date. I look forward to seeing all of you!

Pharmacology Conference : Get your pharm hours at this year's virtual pharm conference, March 4-6. Early Bird member pricing is $149 (15.25 CEs, all of which are pharm CEs). GAPNA is using the same company that did the annual conference (also virtual). Tuesdays at 2!: This is a a free webinar seriesthrough February 9th. The content is fantastic. Next week's topic is the use of nebulizers and aerosolized treatments in the context of COVID-19. These are free, but you need to register for them. Valentine's Day Packages for North Nashville Seniors: This will be a joint effort between Vanderbilt School of Nursing and Middle TN GAPNA. We will be providing seniors in North Nashville with packages of masks, large print activity books (crossword puzzles, word finds, etc), and Kroger gift cards. If you would like to donate $$  or to help with assembling and distributing these packages, please let me know (jennifer.kim@vanderbilt.edu). 

GAPNA Exchange: This is a great way to touch base with other GAPNA members and get valuable information for your clinical practice. Our chapter has its own message board as well. Be sure to check it out and bookmark it on your browser. https://community.gapna.org/home
