Summer Updates

Hello all,

I hope this message finds everyone well. What a beautiful summer it has been!

A few updates from Mid-TN GAPNA:

1) We are very excited to announce that our chapter won the 2019 GAPNA Award for Emerging Chapter! This award comes with one free admission to this year’s national conference for an active member! If you would like to be considered for this free conference admission, please send me an email explaining why you would like to attend the conference and what meetings/GAPNA events you have enjoyed of late. This can be paragraph or bullet format, no need for anything formal. Email to jadevergaranp@gmail.com

2) A HUGE congratulations to member and chapter secretary Kanah Lewallen, DNP, AGPCNP-BC, GNP-BC for winning the 2019 GAPNA Award for Excellence in Leadership! This is a wonderful honor and we are so proud of Kanah! 

3) A reminder that the 2019 National Conference will be October 3-5 in Las Vegas. More information and registration information can be found here: https://www.gapna.org/events/annual-conference

4) Our next chapter meeting will be in early September and be a sponsored dinner. Full details to be sent out soon. 

5) As fall starts to fill up, mark your calendars for the 2019 Walk to End Alzheimer’s in downtown Nashville on October 26, 2019 As many of you know, we participate yearly in this event. More information to come at our next meeting.
